Today is Becca’s 1-week-old birthday! It’s hard to imagine that only a week ago, our little Becca was born. Becca continues to do well with her feedings and is now taking 6ml an hour. Today they started her back on antibiotics to clear up an infection in her lungs. The nurse said B
ecca will probably be on the 
antibiotics for 5 day, and they’re hoping this will help her to get off the respirator.
Becca received several presents today…which arrived just in time for her 1-week birthday. Uncle Sam and Aunt Ashley sent her a box full of clothes and a Bible Story book, one of my piano students gave her a blanket and teddy bear, and (honorary) Uncle Brian and Aunt Jo sent her two preemie outfits with a preemie headband. I love looking at her new clothes and thinking that someday she’ll be wearing these and be home with us. I guess they represent “hope” to me in what God is going to do in the weeks to come.
Happy 1 week! You guys look great – I love seeing you guys in pictures with Becca. The outfits are darling! I guessed I missed a lot not having any little girls! 🙂
I’m so glad you received the package!! Josh you look right at home in that sea of pink outfits! Becca is beautiful and I am happy over every new day she has! I love that children’s story book Bible — I even bought one for myself because I just find it encouraging!!

I think that’s one of the first pictures you’ve posted of Josh with Becca? It’s sweet to see her daddy standing next to her.
That bassinet looks like it is probably kept nice and cozy warm, huh? Can’t wait until the time when you get to start snuggling her yourselves. However you may feel, Amy, you’re lookin’ great. Still praying for all three of you.

Happy 1-week Birthday, Becca (a couple days late…please forgive us 🙂 ). It’s so exciting to read about her progress…6mls just a couple days ago and now 9 today (saw on FB)! The outfits are adorable–she’ll look so precious in them. And, is that the Jesus Storybook Bible that Sam and Ashley sent? We LOVE that one and Viviane does too. There is such a clear message of God’s love for His people in it. You guys will thoroughly enjoy reading it with Becca. We love you all and are continuing to pray!
