I had great ambitions to give Josh his second haircut of our marriage before we went to visit our relatives for Christmas, but we ran out of time before our departure and Josh assured me that no one would think I was a bad wife for failing to give my husband a haircut. My worries were completely relieved when one of my younger brothers commented, “nice to see Josh has his hair back.”
On our return home, I gathered my courage together and decided to try giving Josh a haircut again. With some helpful advice from a professional hairdresser (and from my husband), we successfully accomplished the mission and I was satisfied that no one would be looking at Josh’s hair and wondering who his “butcher” wife is.
Great job, Amy! Isn’t it stressful??? I was SO nervous for the entire first year, I think. It’s gotten better now, and I can actually do it in less than an hour:-)
Johanna is so right. I do like Josh when he has his long hair. He looks so professional and “grown up” when it’s short. 😉 Great job Amy, and I thought you were doing an awesome job with his hair even before now.
Nice job–and I much prefer Josh looking “professional and grown up”! 🙂
It looks like you did a really nice job, Amy! I’m sure after two times now Josh will feel confident letting you wield the scissors. 🙂
good news!!
Great haircut, Amy! You did a very good job. I like the more casual comb, as pictured above – or lack of a comb – long or short. Seriously, I didn’t mind the long hair. It was great to see y’all.
Amy, you cut-up, you! You did a great job. Wanta do Micah’s? He’s waaaaay overdue. 🙁
Josh, you look nice both ways!!! Grandma B
