18 inches long and 5 lb. 9 oz.!
Many people assume that 5 lbs. is the magic number for leaving the NICU, but this is not the case. Technically, Becca only had to weigh 4lbs to come home. After she hit the 4lbs mark, the only thing that keeps her in the NICU is her oxygen support and tube feedings. Becca came off her nasal canual on Friday and has been doing an excellent job breathing without any additional support since then. Currently, the only thing that is keeping her in the NICU is her feeding tube. In order to come home Becca must take all her feedings through the bottle. Though she had a great start, right now Becca isn’t doing too well with her bottle feedings and we’re expecting that she’ll being the NICU until sometime in February.
We continue to be pleased with Becca’s progress and good health and are thanking the Lord for working on her behalf. Thank you for your continual prayers.
Becca looks so precious in those cute pink outfits!! We’ll be praying that she does better with her bottle feeding every day so she can come home soon!
What a cutie!! She looks quite literally like a tiny adorable doll! Praying for her feedings to go better and arrival AT HOME SOON! Love and prayers. (Were you able to get those clothes exchanged?)
Hi Becca,
Your Grandpa just came back from Keswick. He says everywhere he went people asked him about you! You are famous! And you are loved!!
She is so beautiful and I am just amazed at the progress she makes. I use to work in the nicu and she has really made a very smooth transition. I look forward to your blog. Continue to pray for all you.
WOW. I LOVE these pictures. I’m learning that the Lord has His timing, and that’s what He must be teaching us all with Becca. Praying for you……and praising God for His continued hand in Beccas growth.
Happy 8-week birthday, Becca. We love seeing the pictures and hearing that she is continuing to gain weight. Her little outfits are adorable. It is great that Daddy and Mommie had a special day together on MLK holiday. We are praying for you!
What a precious little girl! Praying for the feedings to improve.

I echo everyone else’s sentiments about how darling Becca looks in those little sleepers that fit her just right! She’s precious. I can’t decide who she looks like more, but she definitely has features that resemble both her parents. She’s without a doubt the daughter of Josh & Amy Jensen!
Happy 8-week birthday, Becca.
