As of today, we officially have a newborn in our home! Based on the doctor’s prediction, Becca’s due date was February 22, so now Becca’s adjusted age is one day old. Becca is enjoying her life as a newborn, including being carried by Daddy in the mobi and having nap time with Daddy.
Oops I was off on the due date, so I was right on time with my Happy UN-birthday. 😉 I love the daddy snuggling pictures. So sweet!! Glad to see everyone is doing well.
Actually, Becca had a couple due dates. Initially, it was Feb. 18/19 (depending on whether you go with the OB or with her nurse). Then the sono tech gave a date of Feb. 22 based on her development in the womb. We think that the NICU was calculating Becca’s gestational age using the latter date, so we’re going with that one now.
Whatever the case, Becca should definitely be born today. And as you can see, she is.
This is so sweet! She is beautiful. We’re praying for you, since your experience has been much more exhausting than for most families with newborns!!

Josh I’m glad to see you figured out the moby wrap. Trey has not tried it, but he did wear the baby sling. It took me a little while to get the tying just right so it was not too tight/loose. Becca looks so cute!
Well, Becca and Olivia are very close to the same age! How fun it will be to compare their progress and development. I’m glad Olivia already has a good friend, however far apart they are!
