Three Months Ago Today…

Three months ago today, our little Becca decided she couldn’t wait any longer to meet her parents and was born 13 weeks early. It’s hard to believe all that’s taken place over the past three months, as we’ve watched Becca outgrow the spoon. We’ve very thankful to have a healthy little girl living with us. Happy 3-month birthday, Becca!

  1. PTL! Your pictures are wonderful and it’s so neat to see how Becca has grown. Your blogs have inspired me so much because I have now found myself in the hospital with twins. One of the babies is a lot smaller than the other one and so they are watching them closely. I have been counting the weeks and have made it to 29. Knowing that Becca did so well born at 26 weeks has given me inspiration that if something should happen and the girls would need to arrive they will be okay. Again congratulations to you, Josh and of course Baby Becca! I can’t wait to see more pics as she grows.

  2. I love that picture on the left!!
It’s like she’s saying, “Yo, people!! Look at me–I have OUTGROWN that little spoon, and I’ve got it in my little fist!! Don’t mess with me!!”

She’s amazing!! Always knew she’d make everyone proud–tough little preemie that she is. She’s a special little girl!!

  3. Congrats on Becca’s three month birthday. How exciting! I love the family picture! It was neat to hear about her weight at her “newborn” age. That is exactly what Caleb weighed when he was born.

  4. This was an emotional blog post – reviewing the past three months. We are SOOO thankful for how great she is doing. Makes me realize all over again HOW EARLY she was – and how scary her early birth was for all of us waiting for the “safe delivery” phone call. Love all the pictures – and y’all, too!

  5. Seriously, is that the same spoon??? AMAZING display of God’s creation, work, grace, and love. So glad she’s doing so well!

  6. I love these pictures!!!! What a beautiful family picture! So very thankful for how the Lord has worked in Becca – giving you a beautiful and healthy little girl.

  7. No doubt you can write a book on what you all have been through during the past three months. Praise the Lord for Becca’s three-month birthday. We continue to love the pictures and updates of each message you send. We love you and continue to pray for your precious family! We trust the studies are going well, too!

  8. God is good, and those pictures are simply another proof! Josh, your “girls” are beautiful! What a lovely little family!

  9. Awww. she is sooo adorable! are you sure u guys just didn’t photoshop or shrink the spoon and bear?? :-)!! i can’t wait to meet her!

  10. Truly, the spoon pictures help to put these last three months into perspective. What wonders God has accomplished.

Love the pics of Becca looking into her mommy’s face! She seems quite taken. 🙂

On a lighter note, do you suppose the selection of a spoon as a prop for all these pictures might predispose Becca to some sort of lifelong career with a spoon in hand? Let’s see … she could be a cook, a blacksmith, a taste-tester, a Mary Poppins ….
