This week, Becca turned 11 months old (and 8 months old adjusted). We’re having a wonderful time watching Becca grow and develop. Each new stage is a delight! Becca and I now play a new game of lion chase. It’s so cute to hear her squeal when I come out of hiding, running on all fours to eat her up.
This weekend, Mom J stopped by overnight on her way back to South Carolina from an EMU trip to Uruguay. We had a good visit with her, and Becca enjoyed playing with Grandma Jensen. Becca really likes and the new puzzles and book G&G Jensen gave her for her birthday.
Both Josh and I are busy with our research. Josh will be presenting a paper at a linguistics conference next weekend, so he’s busy gathering and organizing data for his talk. I’m in the process of revising my prospectus. We’re loving the cooler weather – we’re now able to open the windows! On another note, today is our 28-month wedding anniversary – I love being married to Josh – it just keeps getting better!
Love it! So glad she got to see Grandma! How exciting. We love watching her grow too! Thank you for being faithful with the blog.
Bravo, Becca, on your new game of lion chase! Hearing stories like that makes me wish that you and “cousin” Zacharie and “cousin” Olivia and “cousin” Adeline could all have fun making those squealy sounds together sometime. I’m sure if you all got together there would be some hungry lions nearby.
Bravo, Grandma Jensen, on a fun return route from Uruguay. What a neat way you found again to squeeze in some extra time with beautiful Becca! 🙂
And last, but certainly not least, bravo, Amy, on keeping such good track of weeks and months. You’re amazing! Thanks once again for opening the window of the Arlington Jensens’ home and letting us peek in.
This is so awesome. Your baby is such a DOLL!!! You sound like such a wonderful mom, Amy 🙂
Thanks for sharing your lives with me last weekend. It was GREAT to see all three of you, and see how much Becca has grown. I am blessed to have seen you as much as I have over the past year. And I love hearing about all the fun things you do – games with Becca, outings as a family. Does this mom/grandma’s heart good. 🙂 Thanks again for all the pictures on the blogs.
