In addition to making it more likely that I pass my diagnostic exam, a benefit of studying phonology is the occasional snack that my wife prepares for me.
On a completely unrelated note, after looking at this photo of my one-year-old nephew, Amy and I both wondered what he knows that he’s hiding from everyone.
