We took a “quick” detour to show Becca and Isaiah the ocean when we were in Charleston. It’s hard to keep little ones out of the water, so it wasn’t as quick as we expected.
Isaiah wasn’t sure about the waves but enjoyed playing in the sand while Becca and Josh braved the waves.
The kids finished our visit by rolling in the dry sand in their soaked clothes, while I sat pondering how we were going to transition to the car.
I took the boys to see the ocean once while Joel, my husband, was in class at College of Charleston. It was in February so I wasn’t expecting warm weather or little boys wanting to get wet! I had to strip them down and change their clothes before putting them in the car! I understand the joy of the event as well as the predicament!
So how DID you transition to the car? Looks like it was a lot of fun and a pretty nice day. So glad!
