This summer we got to meet and spend time with Dan’s fiancée, Isabelle during two meals at Jon and Ashleigh’s. (Dan got engaged in May and the wedding date is set for December 19th, 2009.) Jon and Ashleigh had us all over for dinner to celebrate our birthdays. Ashleigh made my family’s traditional watermelon basket (which my mom used to make for my July birthday). Mom J also made me a watermelon basket — and right now I’m using the gift Dad&Mom J got me/us!
In other news . . .according to BabyCenter.com, little baby J is now the size of a turnip!
I also like the name “Thor” – Thor Jensen – I like that, or Thor Hannibal Jenson – T. H. for shirt… T. H. Jenson – he’s have to write with a name like that.
The breadmaker looks awesome. I’m a bit jealous. I’m loving the summer in review, and excited that Baby Jensen is the size of a turnip. Although, I disagree with Sam, I’m really hoping for a girl. 😉
They picked a perfect wedding date:-) And wow—a breadmaker…that’s great! Ummm… I think you should avoid taking advice from others about the name. 🙂
I’m amazed that you guys managed to pack so much into your summer — even though it was primarily a “study trip”! (I’m especially glad that we got to see you a few times in there, too!) Hope you’re still feeling well — we’re ready to see some current pics of you, Amy!! 🙂
