Saturday night I performed my first men’s haircut on a very sweet and kind victim. I won’t claim to be an expert or even good…maybe someday, as I guess I’ll get to practice a few more times in the course of my life. Just for the record, no one has made any comments asking who butchered Josh’s hair, but maybe everyone in Texas is just really polite. (I admit it…I miss my curly-haired man.)
In other weekend news…I beat Josh in Jenga for the first time, and Josh creamed me in Othello!
Yeah, for the Jenga match, and the hair looks great. You’re right you get better with lots of practice. I almost have Jon to the point of asking for a hair cut. 😉
Sounds like your hair cutting episode went much better than my first one–actually better than the first 20. And I am sure it is not just that Josh is not as picky as David. 🙂 I agree with Ashleigh, practice not only helps the technique–it cuts the time in half as well.
WOW!! It looks like there’s quite a lot of hair in that pile! Way to go, Amy (AND Josh)!
Hmm…perhaps there is a correlation between Josh’s haircut and his winning Othello…? And perhaps Amy’s deftness at Jenga can be correlated to her deftness with the scissors?
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your locks!!! 😉
I think you did a spectacular job, Amy. Looking forward to checking it out in person next week.
Can’ say I miss the curly locks! 😉 Way to, Amy!
Great job on the haircut, Amy! It looks good. I’m still in the needing-lots-of-practice stage myself 🙂
I’m impressed, Amy — it looks like you did a great job! I’ve never even been brave enough to try! So, good for you!
the hair looks good, but i really do miss the apostle peter look. great job though… did you trim his beard too? ashleigh could really use some beard trimming tips.
You did a FAB job on the haircut, Amy. Question……..how many of your knuckles did you cut with the scissors? That’s what I always do. But it’s a labor of love. (Who am I kidding? It saves us about 15 bucks!)
Way to go, Delilah–now you really have him under your power! 🙂 There is nothing more vulnerable than a man under the razor, just ask Dave. You’ll get faster at it, I promise!! BP
