It’s hard to believe that our Becca is now 70 days old – she’s made such progress since her birth on Thanksgiving Day. Becca’s current weight is 6lbs and 4.5 oz. She’s doing well with her bottle-feedings and and might be home within the next week. As of Wednesday, Becca became the oldest baby in the NICU and now holds the title “Princess of the NICU.” We’re looking forward to having Becca home this month. Thank you for all your prayers!
What a wonderful bit of news! Praise the Lord! So happy to hear all that has been happening. What an answer to many prayers. Hope and pray all of you are doing well.
Becca is making such great progress. She is filling out nicely.
YIPPPPEEE!! So, do we have big party plans for when she comes home? Praying that it will be very very soon and you will be able to be a family AT HOME–TOGETHER! God is good!
hip hip hoooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is so precious, and we’re thrilled to hear of her continued progress — especially with the bottle. Can’t wait to hear the good news that she’s home with you!!
This morning as I read the blog I thought of the song and actually started singing (scary thought) “Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, let the earth His voice. Praise the Lord Praise the Lord let the people rejoice. Oh come to the Father great things He hath done!” We love you very much!
it’s only a matter of time before she comes home… then goes into training for our annual Thanksgiving hockey games…. which is definitely going to happen once we all have kids…. she has some time.
I love the pictures and am so excited about the news that she may be home soon. Will be praying that she continues to eat well and that you will have lots of wisdom when you begin to care for her “on your own”.
Happy first 70 Days Becca!! You have an exciting week ahead of you!! Get ready to go for your first car ride and and first walk up those 17 steps to your apartment, and first visit to your home, and first time to use all your new presents that are waiting for you. And most of all, your first night with your Mommy and Daddy all to yourself!! What a celebration!!
she’s beautiful!
She is a lovely, chubby baby!! Look at the double-chin!!
I can’t believe how far she’s come!!
It’s gonna be soon, Amy!! That is gonna be awesome to have her home!!
What an answer to prayer for Becca and for both of you! She looks adorable in all her little pink outfits! It’ll be so wonderful when you can bring her home. I pray it’ll be soon, and she will continue to grow like she has been. So thankful for the medical technology the Lord has blessed us with!
So happy for you! Yay!
What wonderful news! I’m sure you will both be glad to have your princess home. I am so excited for you both! She looks so good and big. 🙂
Take lots of pictures of Becca with her special nurses. We still keep in touch with Owen’s primary. You will one day look back and think how fast that time in NICU flew. Of course, in the midst of it, it’s hard to see the end and imagine ever leaving. God is so good, isn’t he?!
We are still praying for you all and will continue to do so. Becca is going to grow so fast once you get her home. Enjoy every minute of it!
