Becca’s weight today is a whopping 2230 grams — that’s 4 lb 14.6 oz! She’s not getting the suck-swallow-breath thing too well, but she’s still negative 5 weeks old, so we’ll give her a break.

LOOK at those cheeks….Oh my she almost has an adoreable double chin!!! She’s going to be at the five pound mark so soon!!!! Maybe she’ll be your guys’ Valentine’s present. 😉 Tell your nurse we all love her too for taking care of our family!
I can’t believe how “grown up” she is looking. Her nurse looks really nice; I’m thankful she has such good medical care. Love you guys and am praying!

She is looking “chunky”–yay!!! I used to say that about Owen when he was that age and everyone else thought he was tiny at 6 lbs when we brought him home. The feeding takes some patience. Owen struggles every now and then, but I promise it gets better. She’s such a strong little girl and will amaze you 🙂

I stopped by the Music Library last Thursday, and Mrs. Eby and I had good old times chatting about you and all the other gals in our team. Seemed so long ago . . . but those were good days–’02-’03 . . . my first year as a music librarian. I remember feeling so happy to have those three “mother hens” back there–Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Eby, and Mrs. Taylor. And dear Dr. Wilson on a sporadic basis. It was one of my true homes on campus. Everyone was so kind to me. . . . And I remember your merry, joyful, exuberance that cheered all of us as a fellow librarian and year older.
