Last Thursday we drove back from a week in PA at one of our supporting churches’ mission conference. We had a great time getting to know the church members. A special treat was being there with Naomi Glock. During the summer of 1999 I spent a month with Aunt Na in Suriname helping her with an OT Bible Stories project for the Saramaccan people. It was great to catch up with her.
The morning after we arrived home we took our stuff to be loaded in a container headed for Cambodia. Some other missionaries, the Hancocks, had extra space so we were able to pack up our books, kitchenwares, and other stuff to send over. Yesterday the container was officially loaded, and it left. So glad to be done with that packing process.
Little Sister is scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. It’s been a little hectic with traveling, packing for Cambodia, and getting ready for Little Sister, but we’re all excited and looking forward to unpacking this precious bundle of joy!
